Dawn of War - Dark Crusade provides the same great real-time strategy experience the series is known for. Issue commands and rotate the battlefield camera view simply with your mouse as you vie for control of the various maps. Construct your base buildings, research new technologies and build up your forces in order to crush your opponents and gain control of key points and relics scattered across each level.

The campaign differs from the linear style of storytelling that previous games in the series followed. Instead, the seven races hold certain areas of the plant Kronus and they take turns assaulting adjacent territories on the planet map. The ultimate goal is to eliminate all the other factions, which is done by conquering their heavily fortified home territories. This is no easy feat so you may want to conquer their other regions and complete mission objectives to gain strategic bonuses, such as extra starting resources, a higher population cap, or a pre-built base at the start of a mission.
